Annapurna Round & Base Camp Trekking - 32 Days

Annapurna Round & Base Camp Trekking - 32 Days

The Annapurna Circuit is one of the classic treks in the world and on the ‘must do’ list of any serious trekker or adventurer. The circuit takes one around the Annapurna Himal, following the courses of 2 mighty rivers: the Marsyangdi in the east and the Kaligandaki in the west, and takes one over the 5400m-high Thorung La Pass in between the upper reaches of the rivers. The Kaligandaki is the world’s deepest gorge, flanked by the giant Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himals. The flora, geography and culture also change dramatically around the circuit.

In recent, this has become most popular and busy for trekking. Before opening in 1977, a few lucky scientist expedition groups had trekked into this region. Any group that is planning to do this trek, must have a pre-consideration with regard to the porter's clothing's and equipment at the moment of crossing Throng-La pass (2,300 m.). Sometimes it may be risky due to the bad weather such as snowing heavily, strong wind blowing, blocking of the trails etc. may cause problems. Sometimes the trekkers have to face the possibility of danger of the high altitude, when they have not yet acclimatise to the high clean elevation.
