Exotic Kathmandu Valley Mountain Biking - 14 Days

Exotic Kathmandu Valley Mountain Biking - 14 Days

An exotic mountain biking covering all the corners of the Kathmandu valley. The trip trip starts with the biking tour right from the capital city of Kathmandu, the popular historic center and adobe of the gods. During this entire adventure we would be staying at five out of six best outlooks for viewing the mighty Himalayas, from Dhaulagiri in the west to Everest in the east. Literally you will not be missing what it is known as the the world's finest mountain scenery. Our biking trip takes you to Nagarkot, one of the most beautiful "hill station like" place famous for the 270 degrees views of the mighty himalyas, where you can retreat yourself with some biking funs in and around the hill. Visit one of the world's heritage site, where one can see the stone tablet, said to be the earliest known inscription in Kathmandu Valley. The biking continues to Dhulikhel - the main gateway draining Nepal to Tibet, and then the scenic biking ride takes us through the hidden roads of the surrounding old city of Kathmandu.

Other highlights of the trip would be the villages of Khokna and Bungmati, which date back to the 14th century. The temple of Macchindranath (worshipped by both Hindus and Buddhist as the giver of golden harvests) is situated in the main square of Bungmati. The Namo Buddha, a big monastery with the history of 5th century is also visited with the side trips of Panauti, the historic newari town. The biking tour also takes us to Dakchhinkali meaning the goddess at the western part of the country and is very popular for the animal sacrifice. We conclude our trip by driving back from Dakshinkali.

A farewell dinner at the famous Nepal Chulo restaurant with the cultural show and dances would bidding the farewell to you.
