The Newari village hike

We depart early (8 am) from Kathmandu after taking breakfast
and carrying pack lunch for the day.After one hours drive we start our
exploration from Newari town of Kirtipur (1334m).
Perched on a hill to p this historical town has preserved
its culture even now. The walk through the small alleys of the town is full of
interesting discoveries. We then walk down through open cultivated farmlands
and cross the suspension bridge over Bagmati River before we reach the
interesting Newari villages of Bungmati and Khokana. You will have a good
insight and interesting time on meeting the villagers and seeing their arts and
architecture. We take our lunch here and climb up for the village of Chapagaon
(1457m) mostly inhabited by Chhetries
and Brahmins.We take our Vehicle for Kathmandu in Chapagoan.
