Nepal Camping Tour

NepalCamping TourDestinations Covered: Kathmandu - Pokhara - Kalikasthan - Syaglung - Chisapani - Pokhara - Chitwan - Kathmandu

Duration: 09 Nights/ 10 Days

 

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will take you to your hotel. In Kathmanduyou can explore the attractive Buddhist and Hindu temples and shrines. You can also visit other places in Kathmandu city on your own. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

 

Day 2: Kathmandu - Pokhara

After early breakfast you will drive to Pokhara (200 km) from Kathmandu. You will have your lunch on the way and reach Pokhara late in the afternoon.

 

Pokhara provides one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas. You can pursue various other activities on your own such as boating in Fewa Lake, with the Annapurna range in the background. In the evening you will start your preparation for your trekking to Poon Hill. Overnight stay will be in Pokhara.

 

Day 3: Pokhara - Kilikasthan

Breakfast follows drive to Vijayapur Khola to start your trek. As a part of your trekking tour, you will walk for half an hour through the rice fields and a river. During the Monsoon months the river is flooded therefore it becomes quite tough to cross the river. Upon crossing the river the trekking trail starts to ascend to Kalikasthan. You will be served with lunch in the middle of your climb. Afterwards you will arrive at Kalikasthan and camp there. Overnight stay will be in the camp at Kalikasthan.

 

Day 4: Kalikasthan - Syaglung

After breakfast, you will start your trekking by walking through the villages. You will be taken through the ridges so that you can have great views of Annapurna and Llamjung Himal. Stay overnight in Syanglung.

 

Day 5: Syaglung - Chisapani

Breakfast follows a walk through the Gurung/ Syaglung Village, rhododendron and Sal forest. Half way through your walk you will have a 400metre descent and then a 600 meter ascent to reach Chisapani. From Chisapani you will get a great view of the Himalayas. You will get a fine glimpse of Dhaulagirito the west of Annapurna from here. Overnight stay will be in Camp at Chisapani.

 

Day 6: Chisapani - Pokhara

After breakfast you will walk half way down the hill to Rupatal and later ascend about 200 meters to reach Suyndare Danda and then walk about 15 minutes down to Begnas Tal for an hour boating for transfer to Pokhara. Overnight in stay will be at Pokhara.

 

Day 7: Kathmandu - River Rafting - Chitwan

Breakfast follows drive to the rafting site of Trisuli River for white water rafting. Trisuli River is considered to be an ideal course for beginners. After your rafting session you will be served with lunch and then be driven to the Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival at the Park you will have some rest and later go for an elephant ride to explore the jungle and wildlife where you can spot the one-horned rhinoceros, deer, monkeys, bison, wild boar, sloth bear, leopard, and the Royal Bengal tiger. You will continue exploring the wild for about 2-3 hours. Overnight stay will be at the resort/hotel.

 

Day 8: Royal Chitwan National Park

After your morning tea or coffee, you will proceed on a Nature Walk, where you will get to explore the Sal forests, open grasslands and reverie jungle. Our tourist guides will help you in identifying some of the birds, plants and wildlife, which you may come across at the Park. Thereafter you will have an elephant briefing program where you can learn about the fascinating animal. After lunch we will take you for canoeing on the Rapti River. After rafting you will be transferred back to the resort. You will enjoy your dinner around the campfire.

 

Day 9: Royal Chitwan National Park - Kathmandu

Morning tea/coffee follows either bird Watching or elephant ride. Later you will leave for Kathmandu. Overnight stay will be in Kathmandu.

 

Day 10: Kathmandu

After breakfast will have free time and later be transferred to the international airport for your onward journey.
